Preparing your instrument…

Assembling the impossible

Just brass, light, and a little mathematics.

Add a voice 5 / 8
Individual mechanism

A shared musical clock keeps every voice in time. Maximum eight voices.

Music you can touch.

This is a tiny mechanical ensemble. The brass engine at its center marks time; the instruments around it turn that time into harmony.

01 / Wake the room

Play starts sound and synchronized motion. Pause holds the composition. Sound / Mute silences the speakers without stopping the sculpture. Start with a comfortable device volume.

02 / Change your perspective

Drag the sculpture to orbit. Pinch or scroll to zoom. Click a mechanism or its labeled chip to tune it. Recenter view is in Compose. No secret gestures.

03 / Make it yours

Open Compose to set tempo, scale, and volume. Add up to eight voices. Change an individual voice’s note and strike interval, mute it, or solo it. All pitches belong to the selected harmony; repetition, not randomness, makes the music.

04 / A considerate instrument

Before Play, movement is a silent preview. Switching tabs pauses the instrument; press Play when you return. Reduced-motion preferences disable the automatic camera drift. Lite mode reduces graphics cost. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

Begin again?

Restore the original five voices, tempo, harmony, and volume. Your current composition will be replaced.
